TIP Colloquium: Invited talk by Dr. Nils Mandischer and Carlo Weidemann

© itmc / TU Dortmund
In our monthly TIP colloquium we are lucky to welcome Dr.-Ing. Nils Mandischer (Uni Augsburg) and Carlo Weidemann (RWTH Aachen) as invited speaker. They will talk about adaptable human-robot workplaces.

The talk will be part of our monthly TIP Colloquium series.

16:00 Uhr: Assistive Mensch-Roboter-Kolboration am Arbeitsplatz basierend auf elementaren Menschfähigkeiten

(Carlo Weidemann, RWTH Aachen, und Dr.-Ing. Nils Mandischer, Universität Augsburg)

The talk will present two perspectives that deal with the use of elementary human abilities (based on the German IMBA standard). First, Carlo Weidemann will show how task planning can incorporate elementary human abilities and how human-robot workstations can be automatically designed for the target group of people with physical disabilities. Dr. Nils Mandischer will then give an introduction to his ability framework, which will later enable automatic evaluation of the performance of the interaction partner based on observations and serve as the basis for fully automatic task assignment in HRC scenarios.
